Collection consists primarily of family and personal correspondence of Sally Belle (Knight) Wingo (1855-1947) of "Edgewood," Amelia County, and Richmond, Va., along with her account books (2 vols.), 1889-1918, including information on the Woman's Christian Association of Richmond. Also, includes a diary, 1905, of her son, John Trevilian Wingo (1887-1986), kept while a student at the University of Virginia, as well as personal and business correspondence, 1905-1953, and miscellaneous records kept as a student and as a lawyer in Richmond, Va. Also, includes personal and family correspondence, 1920-1947, of his wife, Elizabeth Dallas (Brown) Wingo (1889-1969) of "Edgewood" and Richmond, and scattered materials of other members of the Wingo family.
